About Let's Chat Coach

In tennis, everyone has a coach. The rest of your life should be no different.

I played competitive tennis for years. From beginners to pros, everyone had a coach. Not because they were struggling, but because they wanted to get better.

But outside of sports? Coaching is treated as a luxury. Career coaching costs hundreds per hour. Most people go without.

That never made sense to me.

The Conversation That Started This

A few months ago, a friend asked if I had an executive coach. I didn't.

I'd love one, I told him. But I wasn't going to spend hundreds per hour. I also needed something available at 2am when I'm wrestling with a decision. And I wanted straight talk — not fluff, not validation, but sharp questions that would make me think harder.

I've spent 30+ years operating businesses, from investment banking to strategy consulting to technology startups and behemoths. I'd been in the tough conversations, made the hard calls, and learned that the best decisions come from clear thinking, not quick answers.

So I built it.

What Let's Chat Coach Actually Is

Not just "ChatGPT for coaching." A structured thinking partner built on proven coaching methodologies, designed to help you:

  • Navigate career crossroads and job decisions
  • Prepare for difficult conversations
  • Work through leadership challenges
  • Make better decisions under uncertainty

Available 24/7. No scheduling. No waiting. No judgment.

Because great coaching shouldn't require a C-suite title or a trust fund.

The Mission

I think about all the stupid things I've done in my career. The job I took for the wrong reasons. The conversation I handled badly. The decision I made too quickly or avoided too long.

Would a coach have made me perfect? No. Would I have made fewer mistakes? Absolutely. That's what coaching does — it reduces errors, clarifies thinking, and helps you see the second-order effects you're missing.

Let's Chat Coach exists to make that accessible to everyone. From early career professionals to seasoned executives. Because if we coach our tennis game, we should damn well coach our careers.
